How do I check the status of an authorization?

You can check any prior authorization directly from the portal dashboard.

Go to the Authorizations dashboard

From the main menu, click Authorizations to open your authorization dashboard. This shows all recent requests submitted by your practice.

Search by confirmation number or member

Enter the authorization confirmation number in the search bar, or search by member name or ID to find the relevant request. You can also filter by date range or status: Pending, Approved, Denied, or Modified.

Review the status details

Click on any authorization to open the full detail view. You will see the current status, the reviewing clinician’s decision notes, any additional information requests, and the approval period if the request was approved.

Take action if needed

If the authorization is Pending Additional Information, click Add Documents to upload the requested materials. If it was Denied, you will see an option to submit a Peer-to-Peer Review request directly from this screen.
